For years, fashionistas have relied on black as their go-to color for chic style. It's classic, timeless and flattering on every body type. I can still hear my mom telling me, "black goes with everything!" (Thanks for the tip, Mom!)
For casual looks, we've recently seen gray and taupe emerge as popular go-to hues. Their neutral tones will work with nearly anything in your wardrobe (which is a traveler's dream for suitcase packing!).
This season, a new shade is joining the mix. Enter BLUSH PINK. If you haven’t noticed already, it’s taking the fashion industry by storm as the new neutral. This feminine shade is flattering against most skin tones, preventing the sallow look that some shades can evoke.
I am slowly collecting pieces for Spring and blush keeps popping up in my shopping cart. It’s a neutral I’m really excited to embrace!
Here are the pieces that I styled with my blush pink denim. You can shop this look using the links below.

Cardigan: This cardigan is the perfect light layer for transitioning into Spring. It runs true to size (I’m wearing a size Small for reference). I bought it in the olive-green color (which complements blush really nicely), but I’m now thinking about grabbing a second color as well! It’s comfortable and drapes well; I’ll definitely be wearing these through the fall!
Tank: I’m loving this tank right now. I picked it up in the ivory color (it looks white to me) and I love that it’s not see-through! It’s another great layering piece that looks good under a cardigan or by itself. You have to see the beautiful draping in the back: it’s such a pretty detail!
Blush Pink Denim: These blush pink jeans fit great, are TTS, and pair really well with cardigans and booties for chillier Spring days. You can see that I styled them with a pair of sandals here–I can’t wait for it to be continually warm out so I can keep this look going!
Sandals: These wedges are comfortable and a gorgeous suede. I picked up the dark beige color and I’m definitely going to try them out with spring dresses. I’m psyched because I got these sandals on such a steal! There are very similar styles that are going for around $150, but I picked mine up at Nordstrom Rack for under $70!!! Get yours before they sell out!
Sunglasses: I have been wearing the same pair of aviators for-ev-er. It was time to add a new pair of sunnies to the rotation. When I saw these in the store I was so excited; they are much more glam than my Ray-bans and allow for a totally different look. I also like that they are lightweight. I find heavy plastic lenses to be uncomfortable (hence the reason my aviators have been my go-tos for so long!).
Bracelet: I was so excited to find this bracelet in stock. I have been searching far and wide for a statement bracelet that was comfortable to wear and when I finally found one I loved, it sold out! Luckily, this one is even prettier! I love the imperfect shape of the links and the color of the gold. It’s not too brassy or yellow, so it suits my skin tone nicely. You’ll be seeing a lot of this bracelet on Instagram (If you don’t already, you can follow me at www.instagram.com/finewineandtatertots).
Necklace: Have you heard about Target’s new jewelry line? It’s called Sugarfix by BaubleBar. Yes, the website you probably buy all of your best accessories from has created a line at Target, making it all the more accessible. This necklace works perfectly with blush denim, but is also going to work great with mostly any outfit I put together this Spring. Plus, you really can’t beat Target’s prices! Check out their Sugarfix collection using the FREE SHIPPING ad above. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
Earrings: These have been my go-to earrings since the fall. They go with literary any outfit I put on, are light-weight and comfortable, and look really classy. I consider them the perfect alternate earrings to a pair of pearls posts (which I also wear regularly!).
Watch: This watch is one of my favs. It’s two-tone design goes with any jewelry I wear, and the crystal bezel adds a little extra touch of class.
