Transitioning your wardrobe between seasons can be a little tricky, but luckily I’ve taken away the mystery for you! The key is to pick timeless pieces that are flattering on your body type and can be layered to adapt to any weather conditions.
One of my favorite weekend outfits is a white top and blue jeans; there’s a reason it’s so classic! Especially with distressed denim EVERYWHERE right now, it’s a great go-to ensemble, especially with a laying cardigan.
Express has recently come out with several adorable camisoles that pair perfectly with denim, slacks, and skirts (I’ve tagged two of them in the widget below–I bought each of them in true white and ivory, respectively). Not only will they work great as a layering piece for Spring, they’ll also be perfect with the rose-colored jeans that are on my wishlist!
The perks of each cami in the widget:
1. the Barcelona cami has spaghetti straps and a pretty double layer design in the back that is just so delicate and eye-catching. It’s sure to get you many compliments!
2. the Strappy back tank gives you the advantage of wearing a “normal” bra with it! (You cant beat that!)
I have recently discovered AG Jeans and I’m so glad I did. They don’t stretch out the way other jeans do, leaving you with saggy knees and butt. They hug your curves and stay put for the entire day. Yes, they are expensive, but they are totally worth the investment. I’m really loving the Legging Ankle style right now because it looks great with booties and heels, plus it will be perfect for sandal season, as well! (I’m all about getting a multi-season wear out of clothes, can you tell?)
A cozy cardigan is another timeless wardrobe staple that is essential for transitioning your wardrobe from Winter to Spring. If the day starts out chilly and then turns warm, you have the option to remove a layer and still have a pulled-together outfit, as long as you opt for a nice tank underneath. Luckily, you likely have several cardigans in your wardrobe, but in case you don’t, I’ve linked up a few of my current favs below.
